Arts Partners Schools Initiative Announced!
Arts for Learning Connecticut is pleased to announce the new Arts Partners Schools Initiative utilizing the 21st Century Learning skills of creativity, collaboration, communication, increasing arts education AND arts integration. Arts Partners is designed to foster lasting partnerships with schools interested in using an arts integration approach for teaching and learning.
Schools that become part of this program will be provided with the following services:
One five day teaching artist residency
Two, half days of teacher professional development
One all school assembly (could be with the teaching artist or any other artist from our roster)
Guaranteed registrations for 5 teachers at a 3 day summer arts integration institute
Future grant and program opportunities for more in school or after school residencies
Bring a community of artists to your school who can provide both strong arts education and work with teachers to integrate the arts into their curriculum. This approach also speaks to the Common Core Curriculum Standards in both Literacy and Math. Please call our Education Manager at 203-230-8101 to find out how your school can become an Arts Partners School.

What schools are saying:
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Sirius Coyote performance yesterday at Morley school. The students were totally captivated as were we! This will certainly add to their appreciation and understanding of the Latin American culture. I am glad that the Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools was able to fund your presentation in 10 of our schools.
