How to become a Showcase School

Young Audiences Arts for Learning Connecticut brings one fall and one spring artist showcase to schools in CT each year. If your school has multiple performance venues call us at (203) 230-8101.

FALL SHOWCASE OF THE ARTS September 25, 2009

Young Audiences of Connecticut will host an all day Fall Showcase of the Arts at Hatton Elementary School in Southington on September 25, 2009 from 8:30-3pm.

Come and enjoy over 100 artists as they perform and conduct workshops for children in the disciplines of music, dance, theatre, storytelling, visual arts and literary arts.

All programs inspire creativity and learning!! A great way to select programs for your school or community center and learn about grant opportunities!

Cost $15 includes lunch and a drawing for a $500 gift certificate towards your Young Audiences programming.

Fall 2008 Showcase at Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport

Thank you to the PTO, students, teachers and administrators at the Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport for hosting a wonderful showcase! Thank you to Art Spot for their mosaic mascot piece which was donated to the school.

SPRING 2008 SHOWCASE

Over 200 parents, teachers, students and administrators attended the Spring Artist Showcase on Friday, May 16th at Rotella Magnet School in Waterbury. Thank you to all the staff and administrators from Rotella School for making this showcase so sucessful. Thank you to artist Colin Coots for sharing his school residency with all of us. Thank you to CT Opera Express for donating a free program as a door prize.

Over 100 educators, parents and community organization representatives attended the showcase to choose the right arts experience for their classroom or school!! They learned how Young Audiences Arts for Learning Connecticut Artists integrate music, dance, theatre, storytelling, puppetry, visual arts and literary arts into curriculum.
