FAMILY PROGRAMMING Parents and Kids Learn Together
Parents and Communities for Kids (PACK) is a project funded by the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Hamden Community Block Grant funding and the William Gaspar Graustein Memorial Fund. Young Audiences of Connecticut provides experiential arts programming for the growing the number of families in Hamden and New Haven that come together for out of school learning activities at the Keefe Community Center in Hamden.
Goals . . .
Improve the supply of quality out of school learning opportunities for children and families
Increase the demand for and participation in such out of school learning opportunities
Use this participation to help children interact with their family and other community members
Promote family centered lifelong learning activities in the home and community.
